For Pure Wool Shawls

Plain / Jamawar wool shawls can be hand-washed in cold water with a mild detergent. Embroidered Shawls should only be dry-cleaned. Pure wool shawls should either be steam ironed or lightly ironed under a pressing cloth. Keep it folded in a paper bag when not in use.

For Silk Shawls

Plain and Embroidered Silk shawls should be dry-cleaned. Silk shawls should either be steam ironed or lightly ironed under a pressing cloth. Keep it folded in a paper bag when not in use.

For Handloom Pashmina

Pashmina shawls can be delicately hand washed in cold water with a light detergent. The shawls should then be rolled in a towel to remove water and laid flat to dry in shade. DO NOT iron the shawl while it is wet. Let it dry before you Steam-Iron. Keep it folded in a paper bag when not in use.
